**the framed skeleton shown in the photos is from our first collaboration with Yesod & Pepper in 2024 and is NOT the one you are bidding on. It is to illustrate what the final product would look like if winning bidder opts to have it framed. The unframed skeleton is the one up for auction.
Description
This 20” cracked & retired ride cymbal was a staple at Pepper’s Kona Town Recording studio in Redondo Beach, California. It was played on all Pepper recordings since their 2016 Ohana record among other artists & albums including Katastro’s Strange Nights record.
We were able to cut & manufacture 286 pendants from the cymbal and salvaged the “skeleton” (AKA scrap metal) for auction to raise even more funds for MusiCares Fire Relief Fund! 10% of the final bid price is reserved for the aforementioned fund.
We will reach out to the winning bidder to offer the option to have the skeleton professionally framed (completely optional, at an additional cost).
